The climate in Alghero is typically Mediterranean warm sunny and humid. Wind factor here too is high, in the summer a breeze can be pleasurable (wear sunglasses on the beach to avoid sand in your eyes), in the winter a bit less. Humidity can be high particularly in the summer, so drink lots of cold beverages. Remember to pack sun screen from if you visit from April right through to October, important also to stay out of the sun during the peak times from 12 hrs to 15.30 hrs.
