Sardinian cuisine is very rich in traditions and you will find this as you dine out in the many restaurants Alghero has to offer. For example a popular local dish is culurgiones, cheese or potato filled ravioli in a tomato sauce and from the Catalan influence the “Aragosta alla catalana” local caught lobster served tepid with onions, tomato and rocket salad.
