Taxi: taxis will be waiting for you outside of the airport on the right.
Bus: frequent Bus service from the airport Alghero centre, tickets must be bought before you catch the bus, there is a ticket machine in the airport next to the bar.

Road directions from the airport to Alghero by hire car and visa versa if you wish to return the car to the airport centre:
At Airport exit, turn right (direction Alghero) and proceed for 2.6 km
At T junction turn left (direction Alghero) and proceed for 2.5 km
At T Junction, turn right (direction Alghero) and proceed for 0.8 km
At next T junction/traffic lights (opposite fountain), turn left and almost immediately take right fork in to Via Liguna and proceed for 0.7 km.
At traffic lights turn left and proceed along Lido and then Via Garibaldi for approximately 2.0 km towards harbour, you are now at the beginning of the historical centre of Alghero
